About Me
Hello, I’m Rebecca, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way here. Congratulations on your pregnancy.
I’m a warm, compassionate, and approachable person, and my passion for supporting mothers began when I realised how little emotional and practical guidance many new parents receive during pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period.
I’m a mother, birth and postnatal doula, birth educator, massage therapist and nutritional health coach based in Frome, Somerset. My work is rooted in a deep passion for birth choices, holistic postnatal recovery, and emotional wellbeing in pregnancy and beyond.—but more than that, I believe in holding space for families as they navigate one of the most transformative times of their lives.
Every birth is different, just as every family’s needs are different. Since becoming a doula, I’ve supported people in a wide variety of birth scenarios—home births, birth centre births, and hospital births, including both vaginal and caesarean births. I’ve been alongside families choosing epidurals, unmedicated labours, and water births, supporting them through every step. I’ve worked with same-sex couples, neurodivergent parents, and those with complex medical conditions, always adapting to what feels right for them.
Birth Support
Birth is powerful, unpredictable, and deeply personal. My role is to be beside you—not leading, not directing, but supporting you in the way you need.
I offer continuous, personalised care, whether that means hands-on support, reassurance when things feel overwhelming, or simply holding space for you and your choices. I use techniques like, Massage, biomecanics for birth, and Rebozo for comfort and positioning (accredited by the Royal College of Midwives) and can offer practical suggestions to ease the intensity of labour—for both you and your birth partner.
But more than anything, I will trust you. You are the expert in your body, your baby, and your choices. My job is to provide non-biased, evidence-based information so you feel confident making decisions that align with what’s right for you.
Postnatal Support & Nourishment
Those early weeks after birth can feel raw, beautiful, and intense all at once. My focus is on making sure you feel rested, nourished, and held.
I bring my love of food into my work, preparing healing, nutrient-dense meals using seasonal ingredients, inspired by traditional postpartum care. As a qualified nutrition coach, I support your recovery with foods that restore and replenish. Alongside this, I offer soothing postnatal massage, creating a moment of calm where you can reconnect with your body.
Whether you need practical help, emotional support, or just someone to remind you that you’re doing an incredible job, I’ll be there.
Breastfeeding & Community Support
I am currently training with the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers to become a breastfeeding counsellor and volunteer at my local Baby Drop-in in Frome, a breastfeeding support group. Feeding journeys can be full of highs and lows, and I’m here to support you—whether that’s with practical guidance, emotional reassurance, or simply an understanding ear.
The Way I Work
No two births are the same. Some people need hands-on support, others prefer quiet reassurance, and many just need someone to hold space for them without judgment. My support is always led by you.
As your doula, I will be your biggest advocate and ally, standing beside you with unwavering belief in your strength. This is your birth, your experience, your story—I’m here to help you own it.
If you’re in Frome or within an hour’s travel, I would love to connect. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or let’s meet for a cup of tea and a chat
