She made me feel like a queen, and I wish every birthing woman could feel as worthy and cared for as I did.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had Becs as my doula during my second pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I still can’t quite believe how different this second birth was to my first, and so much is down to the connection I formed with Becs and her support before, during and after the birth of my little girl.
So much healing happened for me through Becs holding space for me to process the birth of my first baby and helping me prepare to birth again. During our first meeting,
I immediately felt seen, understood and respected. I had a pretty clear idea of what I was hoping for this time around - a gentle home birth, focused on my experience and
my unique needs as a birthing woman. I dreamt of giving my baby the gentle arrival into the world my first baby didn’t get to have. Becs understood that, down to the many nuances behind my story, and provided that extra validation I needed to make It happen.
She helped me and my partner trust we could do it and provided us with all the right tools and knowledge for us to prepare. She’s very passionate about thework that she does and it’s rather contagious - through our chats, I quickly became excited rather than worried or anxious about being in labour and birthing again.
But it was always my show. My vision, and ultimately, my feat. Becs guided us through all of it with zero ego and a fantastic mix of knowledge, calm and humour! It never felt transactional, but rather like letting a wise friend in little by little into our lives at such a crucial time. Importantly, she’s got quite a full bag of tricks, especially when it comes to creating the right atmosphere for the birth and managing pain.
Aromatherapy, Acupressure, Massage, Homeopathy…she’s got range! it felt like an exciting menu of options to choose from to receive personalised care. My partner also loved having her during the birth, as it took some pressure off his shoulders to tend to all that needed to be done and managed, including our 4-year-old.
Becs is helpfully very zen, but she can also be fierce and protective. During the birth, she briefed the homebirth midwives before they even entered our home to protect the birth space and ensure the energy wouldn’t shift too much from what we wanted even when things ramped up.
After the birth, Becs looked after my baby and I for a whole month, helping me process the events, looking after my baby so I could look after myself and bringing me the most delicious homemade food.
She made me feel like a queen, and I wish every birthing woman could feel as worthy and cared for as I did. All in all, hiring and working with Becs to prepare for this birth and postpartum time has probably been the best investment I ever made.

The care and love she shared with us will stay with me forever and I will be eternally grateful.
“With no family close by, we were certain that we needed support for after our son was born and so our search for a postnatal doula commenced. When we first met Rebecca, our hyperactive dog instantly curled up and fell asleep next to her (something that never happens) and we just knew instantly we were in safe hands.
At one of the most vulnerable times in my life, Rebecca came in and instantly felt like the family member we needed - there were no awkward moments, it just felt peaceful and right. Not only was she there for me to cry with, she let us sleep, she taught us tricks on how to look after our son (including those that you feel you would miss from not having family), to look after ourselves, gave us advice we use today, made us delicious food and more. Rebecca’s knowledge and training is vast and has a network of professionals to refer you to if needs be.
It is rare for me to allow myself to be taken care of but Rebecca seemed to be able to let me do that. She felt like a close friend i’d always known. The care and love she shared with us will stay with me forever and I will be eternally grateful.”Ellie
Rebecca’s Advocacy and Support Made All the Difference
I contacted Rebecca early in my pregnancy, and from that very first interaction, she became an irreplaceable source of guidance, support, and empowerment. She listened deeply to my concerns, never dismissing even the smallest worry, and took the time to discuss all of my options in detail. What truly stood out was her unwavering commitment to supporting any decisions I made—without judgement or hesitation. Rebecca’s advocacy gave me the confidence to trust my instincts and make informed choices about my pregnancy and birth.
Rebecca’s presence during my labour was nothing short of extraordinary. Her calm and grounded energy helped me stay focused and in control, even during the most challenging moments. She encouraged me to centre myself through breathing techniques that kept me calm and present, and her incredible massaging technique provided immense relief during my contractions. Thanks to Rebecca’s hands-on support, I was able to get through labour without pain relief—something I never thought possible.
Rebecca didn’t just offer physical support—she was also my fiercest advocate throughout the entire process. Whether it was ensuring my preferences were respected or reminding me of my strength when doubts crept in, she had an incredible way of making me feel both protected and empowered. She created a space where I felt heard, respected, and confident in my ability to bring my baby into the world on my terms.
Her knowledge, kindness, and advocacy helped transform what could have been a daunting experience into one that I will always cherish. I feel so lucky to have had her by my side, and I know her support played a vital role in the safe arrival of my little girl.

Every Woman Should Have Someone Like Rebecca By Her Side
Rebecca was an incredible source of support after the birth of my daughter, and I can’t stress enough what a phenomenal presence she was during the postpartum period. From the very beginning, she brought both practical help and emotional reassurance that made an enormous difference in my journey as a new mother.
One of the things I appreciated most was how she helped me prioritise my well-being without any guilt or judgment. Whether it was giving me the time to catch up on much-needed sleep, encouraging me to take care of myself, or simply making sure I had space to breathe amidst the whirlwind of new motherhood, Rebecca always seemed to know exactly what I needed.
She didn’t stop at just practical support. Rebecca was also a compassionate and nonjudgmental confidant. She created a safe space where I could openly share my thoughts, fears, and insecurities—things I wasn’t always comfortable admitting to others. Her calm presence and kind words reminded me that it was okay to feel overwhelmed, and that I was doing a better job than I gave myself credit for.
Rebecca’s guidance extended to all the little (and big!) things that made caring for my baby easier. She taught me how to wear my baby, which not only made everyday tasks more manageable but also deepened the bond I shared with my daughter. She patiently worked with me to find the most comfortable and effective positions for feeding, which was a game-changer during those exhausting early weeks.
Perhaps most importantly, Rebecca became my cheerleader when self-doubt crept in. She always reminded me that I was a capable, loving mother—even when I questioned myself. Her confidence in me helped me develop my own.
I am endlessly grateful that Rebecca was part of this journey. She made what can be an overwhelming and isolating time feel manageable, supported, and even joyful. I truly believe every new mother deserves someone like Rebecca by her side. If you’re considering postnatal support, I cannot recommend her highly enough—she’s a gift to anyone fortunate enough to work with her.

Rebecca’s Meals Were a Lifesaver
Having delicious meals delivered by Rebecca was one of the best decisions we made during those early postnatal months. As a breastfeeding mother, I was constantly hungry, and having nourishing, home-cooked food readily available was an absolute game-changer.
Before the meal deliveries began, Rebecca took the time to discuss our nutritional preferences and specific needs. This meant every dish she prepared was not only tailored to my breastfeeding demands but also perfectly suited to our tastes. Her meals were packed with wholesome ingredients, giving me the energy and nutrients I needed to recover and care for my baby.
Rebecca’s support in this area wasn’t just practical—it brought so much relief to our household. With one less thing to worry about, it eliminated a major source of tension between me and my partner, who was already juggling his own responsibilities during this time. Instead of stressing over meal prep or resorting to quick, unhealthy options, we were able to enjoy balanced, hearty meals together, which made those hectic days feel just a little bit easier.
Rebecca’s thoughtful, nourishing approach to food went beyond convenience—it was a gesture of care that truly supported us during such a vulnerable and demanding period. I can’t recommend her meal delivery service highly enough; it’s one of those small decisions that made an enormous difference in our postpartum experience.
